eBay launched three day Guaranteed Delivery facility for its shoppers

To give Amazon a clear cut competition, eBay launched a new facility for its shoppers, called “Guaranteed Delivery”. Company guaranteed 3- days shipping on 20 million products as well as free shipping on millions of items. The new program will roll out in the US starting this summer.

Moreover, the company is also revitalized its home page to gives it shopper more personalized experience. eBay points has 1.1 billion items listed at any given time, of which 67% already ship for free and 63% arrive within three or fewer days.

What if shoppers don’t receive the delivery within three days? In this case company will either refund the shipping or give you a coupon as a compensation.

It is actually quite challenging where your rival can deliver an item within an hour and even give you the facility to track your package at an exact spot on the map.

So here it would be interesting to see how much it will benefit the company.
